Are you a capable Behaviour Support Assistant in search of your new role? Do you have a passion for inclusive education and are looking to develop your skills and experience?

At Ribbons & Reeves, we are looking for knowledgeable graduates who are eager to work with primary-aged children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH) and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

The partner schools we are currently collaborating with are mainstream Primary Schools in Kingston-upon-Thames that require additional Behaviour Support.

Behaviour Support Assistant | About the Role:
  • £475-500 per week | Paid weekly via PAYE | Inclusive of Holiday Pay
  • The school is looking to help a Master's or Doctorate hopeful gain a year's worth of experience in a SEND school to support their future careers
  • Term-time work only
  • Supporting inclusive learning by accommodating the needs of children with SEMH and EHCPs
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups with children with SEMH needs
  • Collaborating with and following guidance from faculty, SENDCo, and SEN professionals to aid the holistic development of pupils
  • Ensuring a safe and equitable environment for all children

Behaviour Support Assistant | What Do You Need?
  • A First-Class Degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • An eagerness to learn and apply yourself fully, with a willingness to hit the ground running
  • A desire to work in education in the future could be beneficial
  • A strong, determined, and dedicated individual, with resilience and a passion for working with children
  • Experience with SEND children / Experience with Behavioural Difficulties would be extremely beneficial
