Are you a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker seeking a rewarding role in a vibrant community? Look no further! We are currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic Childrens Locality Team in Kingston!

As a Qualified Social Worker in our Locality Team, you will play a vital role in providing essential support and intervention to individuals and families in need within the Sutton community. You will work collaboratively with a range of professionals to deliver high-quality services, promote positive outcomes, and empower individuals to overcome challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for individuals and families, addressing their specific needs and circumstances.
  • Provide direct support, guidance, and counselling to individuals, empowering them to build resilience and improve their overall well-being.
  • Liaise and collaborate with partner agencies, community resources, and support networks to facilitate holistic and coordinated support for individuals and families.
  • Safeguard and protect vulnerable individuals, ensuring their safety and advocating for their rights and best interests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and reviews to contribute to effective decision-making and service planning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification (degree or diploma).
  • Registered with the appropriate regulatory body (e.g., Social Work England).
  • Proven experience in a social work role, preferably within a locality or community-based setting.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to social work practice.
