We are seeking a Multi-Skills Lecturer to join our team, delivering training in Bricklaying, Wall Tiling, and Carpentry. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in these trades and experience in teaching or training. A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential for candidates with significant industry experience.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver practical and theoretical training sessions in Bricklaying, Wall Tiling, and Carpentry.
- Prepare lesson plans and training materials based on current industry standards.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning.
- Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment in the workshop and classroom.
- Update and manage training resources to ensure they meet the needs of the learners and the requirements of the curriculum.
- Engage with industry partners to ensure training remains relevant and up-to-date.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the training programs.
- Proven experience in Bricklaying, Wall Tiling, and Carpentry, with the ability to teach these skills effectively.
- A teaching qualification is preferred, such as a PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
- Ability to prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons.
