An opportunity to be a Property Accountant for a service business based in Dudley. It’s a well-regarded business with a fun and friendly team and great reputation. This role will provide plenty of opportunities to challenge at all levels.
Main Duties:
As a Property Accountant, your main duties include:
- Collating budgets, monitoring recovery and explaining shortfalls
- Attending meetings to advise on financials
- Reviewing monthly income and expenditure
- Posting accruals and prepayments
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost management
- Working with Finance Managers to develop specialisms
Location / Office / Culture
The role is hybrid and based in Dudley, with one day at home. The company operate from a modern office with a strong Finance Team. The business is very flexible in its working patterns and due to the current ongoing growth offers great chances for progression.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to interact all levels of the business
- The ability to meet tight deadlines
- A desire to identify improvements
- Good system skills, including Excel
- Previous experience in an accounting role
- An AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable
