An excellent opportunity has arisen for Quality Engineer to join this continuously growing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Engineer early on in their career willing to learn and progress their career further within quality. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, driven and willing to learn. You will ideally have 2 years' experience working within a Quality related position in a manufacturing environment.
Role Description
- Evaluate and qualify of new suppliers, including continuous monitoring & improvement activities of existing suppliers.
- Prepare & perform QMS (Quality Management System) audits to ensure that all procedures and instructions related to the QMS are effective and adhered to.
- Complete 8D report analysis with regard to investigation root cause analysis for all Complaints/NCRs.
- Supplier performance analysis
- Manage the Internal Audit schedule for QMS Systems
- Carry out internal and external Audits of QMS systems
- Produce Monthly KPI reports, agree and drive action plans
- Produce 8D Reports, corrective and preventative action plans
- Produce and distribute Supplier performance cards
- Root cause Analysis for Customer/Internal NCR's
Skills and Qualifications
- Trained QMS auditor with Six Sigma awareness (preferred)
- Minimum experience required 2 years in quality related position.
- Ability to read Technical Drawings
- Experience of problem solving processes and use of basic quality tools
