About the Role:I am seeking an experienced and results-driven Credit Controller to our clients dynamic finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional who excels in managing aged debt and is proficient at escalating and referring overdue accounts for collection when necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage and reduce aged debt through effective communication and relationship-building with clients.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and plan appropriate follow-ups.
- Evaluate overdue accounts and collaborate with internal teams to determine referral for external collection as required.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of debt status and actions taken.
- Respond promptly and effectively to client queries and issues related to outstanding payments.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms in alignment with company policy.
- Work closely with the finance team to forecast cash flow and highlight potential issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the credit control process.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a credit control or debt recovery role.
- Strong understanding of credit management and debt collection processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
