About the Role:We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Inclusion & Isolation Manager to support our mainstream secondary school students in overcoming behavioural, emotional or social barriers to learning. You will play a key role in helping students engage fully with their education in a mainstream setting by providing tailored support and guidance.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Manage the Isolation Room: Supervise students placed in isolation and respond directly to behavioural incidents.
  • Student Engagement: Greet and support students entering the isolation room, offering pastoral care and guidance to help them overcome challenges.
  • Create a Calm Learning Environment: Create a focused and positive atmosphere while ensuring school behaviour expectations are consistently applied.
  • Personalised Interventions: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students needing extra support and implement targeted interventions.
  • Behaviour Support & Feedback: Challenge, motivate, and provide feedback to students to help improve their behaviour, attendance and engagement.
  • SEN & Behavioural Needs: Work closely with the SENCO to ensure students with SEND receive appropriate behavioural support and curriculum adjustments.
  • Lesson Observations & Strategies: Assist teachers by observing lessons and advising on behaviour management strategies to improve student engagement.
  • 1:1 Mentoring: Provide small group mentoring and individual behaviour support in partnership with Heads of Year.
