Were looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance & Controls Engineer to join one of our prestigious clients based in Kingswinford!
Youll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing electrical systems within steel manufacturing operations. If youre a qualified Electrical Engineer with industrial experience, this could be your next exciting career move!
This is a Full-Time, Permanent role!
What youll be doing
- Preventive Maintenance Keep essential electrical systems running smoothly, including motors, generators, PLC-controlled systems, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs Interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and PLC/HMI systems to diagnose faults and minimize downtime.
- Automation & Control Systems Work with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to optimise production and manufacturing line performance.
- Continuous Improvement Identify and implement upgrades to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety in electrical and automated systems.
Hours
Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm & Friday 12pm-8pm
Pay
£40,000 - £45,000 per year (Depending on Experience) + Bonuses
Skills/Experience Required
- 5 years + experience in industrial electrical maintenance
- Strong understanding ofcontrol systems, electrical components, and automation systems
- A degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) is essential
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, fault-finding, and hands-on problem-solving
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
