Job Title: Project Manager for Corporate Restructuring

Scope:

The role is to provide project management for the transfer of BCIMO services and assets to a 3rd party to ensure the long term sustainability of the organisation. How this transition will occur and the resulting corporate restructure is to be established.

The role must deliver the following outcomes:

  • Manage and deliver day to day operational aspects
  • Project Governance - propose and agree the governance structure including the decision-making process to select and prioritize project work
  • Project Planning- map out the interdependencies and develop the process to optimize the sequencing and timing of approved projects based on resource constraints and dependencies
  • Project Risk Management- assess the risk nature of workstreams and manage project level risks ensuring there are real mitigations in place
  • Resource assignment - Co-ordinate multi-disciplinary activities and inputs by the technical teams, including specialist inputs, to ensure project success
  • Project communication- develop and deliver processes to communicate about all aspects of project progress with relevant stakeholders
  • Project Reporting and Analytics- develop the processes to analyse and report against the value and progress of the project and deliver the reporting

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable project management experience and knowledge gained from successfully managing complex projects especially around corporate structure change
  • Experience of working with a wide range of major stakeholders (e.g. regional, national, international and Government).
  • Experience in rail, advanced manufacturing, or R&D
  • Experience of dealing with Central and/or Regional Govt grant funding
