This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Tax Manager to join a well-established, mid-tier accountancy and advisory firm that's experiencing continued growth. In this role, you'll play a key part in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, leading on complex tax matters, and contributing to the continued growth of the tax advisory practice. You'll have the autonomy to manage your own workload while being fully supported by a collaborative, agile team and a leadership group that values initiative, insight, and innovation. Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Strong experience in tax advisory for entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, and private equity-backed groups.
  • Proven track record of advising on M&A transactions, including tax structuring and/or due diligence on both the buy and sell sides.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of clients, including onboarding, billing oversight, cash collection, and identifying opportunities to enhance recoveries.
  • Confident in delivering high-quality Corporation Tax compliance and advisory services, supported by technology and shared service resources.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex tax projects and resolving technical issues.
  • Commitment to team development, acting as a mentor and role model while promoting both commercial and technical growth within the team.
  • Awareness of risk and quality control protocols in a professional services environment.
  • CTA, ACA (or equivalent) qualified, with a degree-level education or similar professional background.
