Sales Administrator 

Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm & Friday 8.30am - 2.00pm 

Annual Salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (negotiable, based on previous experience and qualifications)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join our well-established client based in DUDLEY, WEST MIDLANDS on a full-time permanent basis.

Day to Day Duties

  • Respond to customer enquiries, providing expert advice on a range of products
  • Generate and follow up on quotations, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and actively seek opportunities to develop new business
  • Interpret technical specifications and recommend suitable valve solutions for customer applications
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to address complex technical requirements
  • Order Management
  • Process orders efficiently and ensure timely communication with clients regarding order status
  • Liaise with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
  • Market Awareness
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in valve technology
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and potential product developments

Essential Skills

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Communication Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have a driving licence and own vehicle 

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience within an Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing company would be desirable
