MI Systems Developer, Dudley - Up to £35K

Pearson Carter are working with an Insurance Company looking for a MI Analyst to join their team. They pride ourselves on building long-term relationships through their network of 650 broker partners across the UK, ensuring quality service every step of the way.

THE ROLE:

The MI Systems Developer will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by leveraging advanced data visualization and analysis techniques. With strong skills in Power BI and SQL, this position focuses on creating scalable MI solutions that enhance business processes and extract insights from large datasets.

In this role, the developer will work closely with various departments to strategically address complex business challenges through data.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide valuable business intelligence.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate requirements into actionable data insights.
  • Utilize advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning techniques to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Automate data workflows and reporting processes to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain current MS Dynamics 365 and online Statement of Account platforms on Zoho Creator.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to assess data requirements, adhering to agreed SLAs.
  • Document processes and workflows while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal data governance policies.

THE CANDIDATE:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with Power BI and SQL, along with a strong understanding of these tools.
