An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and dedicated Employment Solicitor to join a growing team. This full-time position offers the chance to work on a varied caseload of employment law matters in the West Midlands. What you'll do:

As an Employment Solicitor, your role will be diverse and challenging. You will provide expert legal advice on a wide spectrum of non-contentious employment law issues and assisting with contentious employment matters, from initial consultations to representing clients in tribunal proceedings. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide expert legal advice on a range of non-contentious employment law issues including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims.
  • Assist with contentious employment matter ranging from initial fixed fee appointments to representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings.
  • Support both individuals and businesses with practical, commercially focused employment law solutions.
  • Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver excellent client service.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Employment Solicitor role will have strong technical knowledge and have experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Your excellent communication skills enable you to provide top-notch client care. You are capable of working independently but also thrive as part of a team.

  • A minimum of 3 years PQE in employment law, where your main focus has been employment law during your qualification.
