MONDAY - FRIDAY: 08.00 - 16.00

People Solutions are looking for a Production Planner for our client based in Kingswinford.

Day to Day Duties

• Develop and manage detailed production schedules to ensure efficient workflow• Collaborate with various departments (production, logistics, procurement) to meet customer demands and project deadlines• Monitor and adjust production schedules to address any delays or changes in priorities• Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions for improvement• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available for production needs• Use ERP systems to track production activities, ensuring accurate and real-time data management• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving lead times, reducing waste, and driving overall efficiency

Essential Skills

• Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail• Proficiency in using ERP systems for planning and scheduling• Ability to create effective production schedules based on operational needs• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Desirable Experience

• Experience in coil, rolling, or slitting manufacturing processes• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles or similar process improvement methods• Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics

Training
