Are you an experienced production administrator looking for a new exciting opportunity?Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Production Administrator for our Dudley based client. Our client are a leading manufacturer in the steel industry.Main responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up to date works orders and production schedules.
  • Prepare and manage production-related documentation, production reports & route cards.
  • Ensure production plans are communicate effectively and executed on time.
  • Assist in data entry and maintenance of production databases and systems.
  • Mainly office-based role.
  • Communicate with production planner for production schedules, targets, and any changes to teams and individuals.
  • General administrative duties—filing, scanning, photocopying
  • Conducting stock takes; reconcile stock volumes on relevant systems.
  • Keeping up to date with stock levels, organising and ordering stock when required.
  • Creating new products on the system
  • Identify and report any production-related issues, delays, or bottlenecks to production planner.
  • Providing solution to delays with orders.
Successful candidates will have:
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company.
Hours of work:Monday to Friday- 8am to 4.30pm
