The annual salary for this role ranges from £42,000 to £46,000, along with various company benefits including 31 days of annual leave and a pension scheme.
Candidates should have completed an apprenticeship or be time-served, with an NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance preferred.
Experience with Slitting and De-coiling machines is advantageous, but not essential, as the role involves working on hydraulic and pneumatic systems and performing preventative maintenance.
The position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexible weekly rotating shifts available.

Weekly Rotating Shifts:Mon to Fri - 6am - 2pm / Mon to Thurs - 2pm - 12am /Mon to Thurs 8pm - 6am .The role:You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regard plant breakdowns and repairs.All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manor, reporting to supervisors and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.General Scope of work:

Responsible for PPM
Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems on Slitting and De-coiling machines
Read from engineering drawings
General Welding and Fabrication
Oxygen/acetylene burning
Bench fitting
Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation

Experience/Qualifications Required:

Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
NVQ level 3 or City and City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance
Experience on Slitting/De-coiling machines would be an advantage but not essential
Able to work on own initiative and within a team
