Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Position Overview
Optima are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our clients team in Dudley.
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Ensure proper operation through preventive maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve faults, working with electrical systems and mechanical equipment
- Conduct routine checks and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Work with welding, fabrication, and sub-assembly tasks
- Follow health and safety regulations and adhere to all safety standards
- Interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment manuals
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and repair
- Strong background in maintenance engineering and electrical systems
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, and fabrication systems
- Hands-on experience with welding
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- Familiarity with the 17th/18th Edition Electrical Regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail
- Capability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team
