Prospero Teaching are urgently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Specialist to join a pupil referral unit in Dudley.

The school specialise in supporting children and young adults with emotional and behavioural challenges and are dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for children and adults of all abilities.The school are looking for a behaviour specialist who wants to join a team who are there to make a difference to pupils lives You be warmly welcomed into school and fully supported throughout your time with them.Key Responsibilities:

  • 路 Support pupils with challenging behaviour by building strong a rapport with them.
  • 路 Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify behaviour patterns and implement strategies to improve.
  • 路 Monitor and analyse pupil progress and adjust intervention plans accordingly.
  • 路 Liaise with educators, therapists, and families to design and implement tailored intervention strategies.
  • 路 Provide direct support and coaching to individuals and families, promoting positive behaviour change.

Qualifications:

  • 路 Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
  • 路 Experience in behaviour is ideal but not essential
  • 路 Relevant experience working with children or adults with diverse needs, including autism spectrum disorders, emotional or behavioural disorders, and developmental delays.
  • 路 Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
  • 路 Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with families.
