Role: Quality Inspector - ManufacturingLocation: DudleyHours of Work: Monday to Friday- 7am to 4pmSalary: £30k to £35k per annum (DOE)Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Quality Inspector to join our client in the Dudley Area.In this role, you'll be working directly alongside the Production Manager to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met across the production line. This is an office-based role with regular time spent on the shop floor, combining technical inspection work with data handling and administrative tasks.Key responsibilities:

Conduct inspections of products and processes on the shop floor to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Use a variety of measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Input and manage data using Excel spreadsheets and internal software systems (training provided).
Monitor and verify production processes and provide feedback to the Production Manager.
Communicate effectively via email and internal systems to track and report quality issues.
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to assess product compliance.
Completing and maintaining accurate inspection reports and maintaining quality records.

Suitable candidates will have:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment (Essential).
Proficient in using inspection tools and confident working with Imperial Measurements.
Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
Competent with basic office systems - Excel, Email, Data Entry.
Confident using a range of IT software systems (Training will be provided where needed).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
