Quality Inspector (Foundry) – Dudley

Location: Dudley, UK
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in foundry or metal casting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company in Dudley, offering a competitive salary and stable working hours.The Role:

Conduct quality inspections on castings and machined components
Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Work closely with production teams to maintain high-quality standards
Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements:

Previous experience in quality inspection within a foundry or metalworking environment
Strong knowledge of casting defects and metallurgical processes
Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment
Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards (preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
