Our school provides a warm, nurturing, and inclusive environment, where every student is supported to reach their potential.As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in enhancing the learning experience for each student, helping them to achieve their goals and gain valuable life skills. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, ensuring their individual learning needs are met
- Assist with personal care and ensure students are comfortable and well-supported throughout the day
- Help students develop essential social and communication skills
- Work closely with teachers and other staff to create and implement tailored lesson plans
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive school environment where all students feel valued
Who We're Looking For: We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong passion for supporting students with special educational needs
- Is patient, empathetic, and able to adapt to different learning styles and needs
- Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ideally has experience in an SEN setting (though we welcome applications from those looking to start their career in SEN)
- Holds a relevant qualification in childcare, education, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
