I have been asked to help a high street firm located in Kinross that is on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile Legal Secretary to join its extremely friendly team, assisting with Private Client and Conveyancing matters.

This firm consists of experts in the Kinross property market, with strong local links going back to 1850, offering a role where no two days are the same. It is seeking someone who is adaptable, proactive and ready to tackle various tasks with enthusiasm.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • You will be working with another legal secretary supporting two lovely senior fee earners who need administrative support with the workload
  • Receptionist duties, administrative duties, personal assistant duties, dictation and audio typing
  • Speaking to clients, arrange appointments and relay messages accurately
  • Ordering conveyancing reports and lodging documents with the Registers of Scotland
  • Engage with clients via telephone, building positive and meaningful relationships as 90% of the business comes via referrals
  • Assist with opening and managing client files, retaining clients and closing files
