Housing Officer – Kirkby in Ashfield, NG17.

Looking for a rewarding career in housing? JT Recruit is seeking a skilled and experienced Housing Officer for a fantastic opportunity to join a local authority based in Kirby in Ashfield – NG17.

About the Role:

Manage tenancies, support tenants, and maintain quality estates. Knowledge and experience of tenancy management/enforcement in the social housing sector is essential. Strong communication skills and housing knowledge are essential. Working 37 hours a week, 8.30am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tenancies and address breaches.
• Support vulnerable tenants.
• Conduct estate inspections and address issues.
• Liaise with agencies and prepare legal documentation.
• Maintain accurate records.

You will have:

• Housing management experience.
• Knowledge of housing law.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload.
• Commitment to customer service.

Pay: £20.75 per hour.

This role is initially temporary until the end of May, it will be ongoing for the right candidate.
