Hourly pay rate:
Days: 16.44 per hour +Overtime
Nights: 18.91 per hour. +Overtime
Shifts:
Days: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm with a 3.30pm finish on Friday.
Nights: Monday to Thursday, 19:45-06:00 (30 minute lunch break)
Hours per week: 41.5 hours plus overtime
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months Temp to Perm

Role Summary:
* You will be responsible for welding assemblies to a high level of quality.
* You will be able to read and understand technical drawings and specification sheets and be able to identify weld symbols.
* You will be responsible for carrying out precision measurements and accurately marking out.
* You must be able to select the correct materials and be skilled in cutting materials by burning, disc cutting or by machine.
Role Responsibilities:
* Following technical drawings and specification sheets
* MIG welding to a high standard
* Responsibility for your own PPE and welding equipment
* Must be able to work individually or as part of a team to meet production targets.
* Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
* Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
* Maintaining production area housekeeping
* Minimize waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently.
* Always Maintaining a safe working environment
Experience Required:
* Hands on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
* High quality assembly experience of specified materials such as MIG welding, mild steel, 3mm - 20mm
* Demonstrate skillset using various hand tools.
* Reading and working from drawings
* Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained.
