Search are supporting the recruitment of a Finance Officer to join our client's office in Fife on an extended fixed-term basis with hybrid working. Within the role, you will provide financial and accounting information to the wider organisation. Additionally, you will liaise with key stakeholders to provide advice and assistance on financial matters. If you're an experienced finance or accounts professional with strong interpersonal skills, you would be encouraged to apply.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintain the integrity of the financial ledger system, ensuring all records are accurate.
* Support the preparation of budgets and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Produce and review financial monitoring reports to support informed decision-making.
* Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and improve financial policies.
* Support and mentor a Finance Assistant.
Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Demonstrable experience in an accounting environment.
* Experience in managerial or supervisory role.
* Relevant qualifications (HNC, AAT etc).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
