Contract Scotland is recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a well-established regional civil engineering contractor based in Fife. This is a permanent, part-time position, ideal for someone with a strong civil engineering background and a passion for upholding the highest standards of health and safety.

Our client is known for delivering civil engineering contracts ranging from £5k to £2m across both the public and private sectors in East Central Scotland. Their projects include groundworks, earthworks, drainage, and concrete packages. While they operate as a main contractor, the business retains a "family feel" with a strong focus on traditional values and teamwork. Following recent project wins, they’re expanding their team to support continued growth.

Your Role as Health & Safety Advisor:
Working closely with experienced teams, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within the required standards. This role is flexible, suitable for both newly qualified advisors and seasoned professionals seeking part-time work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining HSE standards and requirements.
- Conducting site inspections and safety audits.
- Compiling compliance reports and managing site documentation.
- Collaborating with site management to oversee safety procedures.
- Liaising with clients to ensure project specifications are met.
What You’ll Need:
- Qualifications: NEBOSH certification is essential.
- Experience: Civil engineering project experience is highly desirable.
- Other Requirements: A full UK driver’s licence.
