The Opportunity

Are you a finalist / recently qualified accountant looking for the chance to fast track your career, development and earning potential?

This is an epic step for a Management Accountant looking to kick on in their career.

You’ll report to a modern, ambitious and highly credible FD - a forward-thinking leader who has progressed his own career swiftly. It’s superb mentoring and a chance to work with a talented and driven FD who will be keen to supercharge your development and progression.

The role is broad - management accounting / board pack prep for an expanding group (with several interesting companies / trading elements), added value reporting and MI, business partnering, supporting year end audit, drilling into profit, margin and performance metrics, managing and coaching a team in finance…

It’s a chance to hone your skills and prepare your toolkit for your first FD role (under the wing of someone who understands how that journey looks and feels).

It’s a supportive, collaborative culture and there is significant investment being made to futureproof the group and drive further success.

Required:

• CIMA / ACA / ACCA completed or very close to completion (you will likely have a degree or AAT).
• Experience of producing detailed, credible and insightful management accounts.
• Confidence when presenting / discussing financial info and analysis with a non finance audience - natural ability to partner with colleagues at all levels to bring the pack to life.
• Highly organised and diligent - you are someone who takes natural pride in the quality of your work.
• Drive and ambition - this would suit someone looking to progress.
• Ability to roll up your sleeves in a modern growth SME (current approaching £20m turnover).
