Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in piping and process equipment looking to join a close-knit team of industry experts that work on exciting projects within the chemical, pharmaceutical and defense industries?
Do you want to support a local piping solutions specialist with your acumen for mechanical design and complex calculations to ensure success in pipe expansion and planned vibration control projects?
On offer is an exciting opportunity to join a leader of the piping industry who have gone from strength to strength over the past 20 years and have helped with the piping infrastructure for Wembley Stadium and the London Olympics and are now looking for a new Mechanical Design Engineer to help with innovative new projects.
In this role you will assist with pipe expansion, planned vibration controls, hyper stress analysis, finite element analysis for a range of different projects and clients. You will utilize high-tech software to test and prepare new build planning and edit designs on a range of CAD Packages.
The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer will have experience working in the piping industry and have knowledge of AutoCAD.
THE ROLE:
- Planning and designing piping and process equipment for a range of industries and clients.
- Prepare schedules for the fabrication of bespoke piping products in a detailed fashion.
- Supporting the technical sales and design teams with complex calculations.
