About the Role:

  • Rota: 1 on / 2 off, including a full day and sleep-in shifts
  • Environment: Small, 2-bed home specialising in Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)
  • Management: Work under the guidance of a highly experienced manager dedicated to supporting staff and residents

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children with EBD
  • Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing environment
  • Assist with daily routines, activities, and educational support
  • Engage in therapeutic activities and interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for residents

 

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children with EBD is preferred but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Flexibility to work on a 1 on / 2 off rota, including sleep-in shifts
