Finance Manager | £50,000 - £60,000 | Cheshire

Resourcery Group are partnering with an exciting privately owned business based in the Cheshire area, easily commutable from Knutsford, Mobberly & Alderley Edger area, to recruit a new Financial Controller.

After a successful period of growth, this business has identified an opportunity for further investment in their support functions resulting in this role.

Reporting into the experienced Finance Director, you will have overall responsibility for running the day to day operations within the finance department whilst beginning to drive a more commercial and ‘best practice’ function.

Main duties include;

  • Overseeing the preparation of financial statements
  • Producing management accounts and presenting financial reports to senior management.
  • Developing and managing the budget process as well as detailed cash flow forecasting.
  • Monitoring performance against budgets, providing variance analysis and insights.
  • Managing cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available for operations.
  • Implementing cost control measures and identifying areas for cost reduction.
  • Providing financial insights for strategic decision-making and advising on financial strategies.
  • Identifying and managing financial risks.
  • Managing and developing the finance team, providing training and mentorship.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and staying updated on regulatory changes.

Candidate profile;

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified
  • Prior staff management experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Prior experience leading an SME finance function
