Experience in a manufacturing finance environment is advantageous, and attention to detail in account preparation is essential.

£40,000 - £50,000 + benefits.
Trafford Park based with a hybrid working model.

I'm delighted to be exclusively partnered with a Trafford Park based manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is a newly created position following a recent acquisition and it could be suited to someone making a move from practice into industry. This new role provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate in all areas of control, Balance Sheet, systems implementation, reporting and forecasting.Responsibilities

Managing and developing the management accounts function for 3 subsidiaries including Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations and variance analysis.
Preparing operating cost budgets for all 3 entities.
Assisting with ERP system implementation.
Assisting with audit and tax queries.

Skills and experience

Relevant qualification – (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE) with candidates moving from practice being considered. Candidates close to qualification will also be considered.
Experience of finance within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing accounts.
