Overview:

  • We are seeking experienced administrators to provide essential support at Taxi Licensing and Adult Resource Centres. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, reactive environment and can efficiently manage both front-line reception and back-office tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide excellent customer service in a dynamic environment, handling face-to-face and telephone interactions, including challenging situations.
    • Process all aspects of licensing applications accurately and efficiently, meeting strict deadlines.
    • Manage multiple administrative tasks, including email account management, call handling, and coordinating MOT test bookings.
    • Utilize various in-house and external systems to maintain efficient workflow.
    • Collaborate effectively with customers, colleagues, and officers to ensure smooth operations.
    Skills & Experience Required:
    • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a customer-facing environment.
    • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to multi-task under pressure.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Teams, and email management.
    • Ability to remain calm and professional when handling difficult situations.
