Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field-Based Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about knocking on doors on industrial estates, handing out information to potential clients, and gathering contact details for the relevant person within those businesses. This role requires a proactive approach to B2B sales, with the goal of expanding our client base and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively visit industrial estates and business locations to identify potential clients.
  • Distribute information and promotional materials to prospective clients.
  • Obtain and record contact details for decision-makers within target businesses.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through effective field sales techniques.
  • Work towards and achieve set sales targets and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of B2B sales experience.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel within the designated areas (Staffordshire, Yorkshire, Cheshire, etc.).
  • Freight/Transport experience is desired but not essential.
  • Valid driver’s license.
