We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Tester with a strong background in manual testing and test automation, specifically within ServiceNow ITSM and Automate Pro (Automation) frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Selenium, solid knowledge of ITSM module testing, and a proven track record in the financial sector, preferably with UK banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for the ServiceNow ITSM module and Automate Pro.
- Perform manual testing of ServiceNow workflows and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium for ServiceNow applications.
- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, ITSM leads, and stakeholders to identify and remediate defects.
- Validate configurations and customizations of ServiceNow ITSM and Automate Pro solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end testing processes, including regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and financial regulatory requirements.
- Generate comprehensive test documentation, including defect reports and testing summaries.
Required Skills and Experience
- ServiceNow ITSM Expertise: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM workflows and processes.
- Automate Pro (Automation): Familiarity with creating and remediating Automate Pro solutions.
- Selenium Proficiency: Proven experience in writing and executing automated test scripts.
- Manual Testing: Strong manual testing expertise, with a focus on ServiceNow modules.
- Financial Sector Experience: Prior work experience with UK banks/financial institutions.
- Defect Management: Expertise in identifying, logging, and remediating defects efficiently.
- Testing Tools: Proficiency in using test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar platforms.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in ServiceNow Certified Application Specialist - ITSM or equivalent.
- Experience with other ServiceNow modules or tools within financial institutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards within UK banking.
