SEN TA - Knutsford:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely primary school near to Knutsford. This is a part-time position to start as soon as possible. You will be supporting children with SEN in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.

The Role:

  • Supporting children in small groups and 1-1
  • Liaising with the class teacher to monitor the progress of the children
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Creating a positive and supportive learning environment

Position Details:

  • Location: Knutsford (WA16)
  • Position: Teaching Assistant
  • Hours: 8:30am-1:30pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: 24/02/2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting pupils within a school setting
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
