SEN TA - Knutsford:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant, with experience supporting SEN, to join one of our excellent primary schools near to Knutsford. This is a part time position, which is looking to increase to full time.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Liaising with parents, pupils and staff

Position Details:

  • Location: Knutsford

  • Full time/Part time: Part time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £70 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: After Feb half-term
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
