SEN TA - Knutsford:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced teaching assistant to join a lovely primary school near to Knutsford. This is a part-time position to start as soon as possible. You will be supporting children with SEN in small groups and on a 1-1 basis.
The Role:
- Supporting children in small groups and 1-1
- Liaising with the class teacher to monitor the progress of the children
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
Position Details:
- Location: Knutsford (WA16)
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:30am-1:30pm (Mon-Fri)
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: 85 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: 24/02/2025
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience supporting pupils within a school setting
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desired but not essential
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
