Description
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for the business.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the finance team on financial reporting and analysis.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analysing results.
- Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and principles.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Provide financial advice to management to aid strategic planning.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A strong foundation in accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent analytical skills for financial forecasting and diagnosis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional communication skills to convey financial concepts to non-finance staff.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar).
