Our client, a well-established company, due to an exciting period of expansion, are currently recruiting a diligent, efficient and proactive Financial Accountant to support the Financial Controller (FC) in preparing monthly management information and other financial performance analytics.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

路 Overseeing and review of the production of the monthly management accounts, together with accounts commentary highlighting the main areas of concern

路 Supporting the FC with the daily management of the team

路 Preparation of monthly payroll

路 Developing best practice processes and procedures both in the department and across the wider business where applicable

路 Supporting the FC with cash flow forecasting, departmental budgeting and cost centre analysis to drive efficiencies and improve workflows across the business

路 Supporting the credit control and purchase ledger functions to ensure timely collection of debts and prioritisation of creditor payments

路 Preparation of the Daily Turnover Report

路 Assisting with year-end audits

路 Support general team with all aspects of finance during holiday times

路 Forge excellent and effective working relationships with all departments and colleagues

As a successful candidate you will have experience within similar role and be part qual., finalist or qualified, a good working knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero etc) strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload together with a great eye for accuracy.
