Accounts Senior - Medium-Sized Accountancy Firm
Lancaster (Office-based with some flexible working)
£31,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on experience)
This firm of accountant are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their firm. This firm has many long-serving members of staff, due to the progression options available and the way they treat their employees.
The Role:
- Preparing year-end accounts for a portfolio of clients, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
- Preparing management accounts and VAT returns.
- Providing business and tax advice to clients.
- Supporting junior team members with their development.
- Liaising with HMRC and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice, ideally at accounts senior level.
- Good knowledge of cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- Ideally has experience dealing directly with clients to discuss accounts and tax matters.
