Reed Finance and Accountancy Lancaster are currently recruiting for a Senior Accounts Assistant on a Full time/Part time Fixed Term Contract basis! In return, the client is offering a salary of £28,000.

Our client is seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to join the team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role offers a variety of tasks and requires a qualified or experienced individual ready to handle a diverse set of responsibilities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct bookkeeping and prepare VAT returns for a wide range of clients.
  • Prepare financial statements for companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
  • Prepare corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns.
  • Assist with a varied range of services on an ad-hoc basis within the team as and when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation, tax computations, and bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
