Identifying and Establishing Client PartnershipsTo £55,000pa + bonus and benefitsNorth WestThe RoleThe Distribution/Wholesale Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and driving sales growth within the North West region. The individual will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies to increase market penetration of product ranges, ensuring that distribution partners and wholesale accounts achieve their sales targets.Responsibilities will include:

  • Sales strategy development & execution: Develop and implement channel sales strategies aligned with the company's overall goals
  • Channel management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key distribution and wholesale partners. Develop proposals and pitches to win new accounts
  • Performance monitoring: Track and analyse sales performance data, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded
  • Account management: Manage a portfolio of key accounts, negotiating contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and supply chain teams to ensure effective product launches, promotions, and inventory availability for distribution partners

The Person

  • Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of FMCG distribution and wholesale channels, with a proven track record of delivering sales growth
  • Relationship building: Excellent ability to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, and internal teams
  • Negotiation & communication: Skilled in negotiation, with strong verbal and written communication skills to manage relationships and contracts
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyse sales performance data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
