Location: Manchester (3 days per week)Salary: £58,000 - £60,000 + 18% pension & a great benefits package!

As the Commercial Management Lead, you'll oversee a dynamic team responsible for the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of IT contracts. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring effective supplier management, strategic procurement, and the realisation of value for money across multi-million-pound contracts. This is your chance to influence commercial strategy, manage high-stakes contracts, and foster innovation within a key public sector organisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the Commercial Management team to deliver exceptional IT and digital solutions.
  • Overseeing contract negotiations, variations, and supplier performance to meet organisational goals.
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies, ensuring legal compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Managing relationships with key suppliers, focusing on continuous improvement and risk management.
  • Evaluating contract performance, driving innovation, and ensuring alignment with broader strategic goals.

What You’ll Need:

  • A background in commercial management, procurement, and supplier management.
  • Experience managing high-value contracts (over £10m) and a multi-supplier environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, including managing teams and overseeing performance.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management experience at senior levels.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; CIPS/IACCM qualifications desirable.
