We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at a popular local school. This part-time role involves working closely with a Year 5 pupil, providing tailored support and ensuring a positive learning environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with strong behaviour management skills and a resilient, confident personality.
Day-to-day of the role:- Work 1-2-1 with a Year 5 pupil, focusing on their individual learning needs.
- Maintain a calm and supportive presence to foster a conducive learning environment.
- Manage and support the pupil's behaviour and engagement during school activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement educational plans and strategies.
- Schedule:
- Monday and Tuesday: 12:15 - 15:15
- Wednesday: 09:00 - 15:15
- Thursday and Friday: 09:00 - 12:30
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- A calm, confident, and resilient personality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
