As the Care Team Leader (Nights), you will manage the service during the night in the absence of the Home Manager. You will be the first point of contact for senior carers and care assistants, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure exceptional care is delivered. You’ll oversee effective handovers, manage company property and medications, and serve as a role model, building strong relationships with residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the night team, including nightly meetings and staff feedback.
- Oversee night rotas to ensure appropriate staffing and skill mix.
- Monitor care delivery and provide additional training or supervision as required.
- Ensure detailed and effective handovers are completed and documented.
- Communicate with the management team to address and resolve any concerns promptly.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Proven experience in a similar setting, with a strong understanding of dementia and elderly care.
- Leadership experience, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
- Knowledge of medication management, including receipt and administration processes.
