P4 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider for a Deputy Manager to join a luxury care home in Lancaster.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager to promote high standards of care and operational excellence for older adults and individuals with dementia. Key Responsibilities- Be accountable for all CQC, regulatory, statutory, and quality monitoring requirements.
- Monitor residents' wellbeing, update care plans, and ensure new needs are promptly met.
- Build strong relationships with local partners and raise the care home's profile in the community.
- Act as a role model for the team and lead on implementing the care provider’s vision, values, and business strategy.
- Participate in the local management on-call rota.
- Proven management experience with strong leadership skills to develop and inspire teams.
- Sound knowledge of dementia and elderly care, including DoLS and safeguarding legislation.
- Ability to take on key responsibilities for service provision and step into the Home Manager's role when needed.
