The Spencer Clarke Group are pleased to be working exclusively with an impressive manufacturing business based in the Lancaster area to recruit a Finance Business Partner to join an impressive team while on a path of positive transformation.

This pioneering company started a growth & transformation project a few years ago, under the leadership of an equally impressive Managing Director and since then have over doubled in turnover - and project to equal that growth in coming years.

Working alongside a highly experienced Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner will support the day-to-day running of the Finance function, acting as second in command as well as partnering with operational teams across the business.

About the role

Based in Lancaster, you will be a key player in the ongoing development & continuous improvement projects across the department as well as the production of monthly management accounts & reports.

The business is looking for a driven & experienced individual, that is looking to develop their career and for the right candidate this could be the opportunity to progress into a senior leadership role.

Duties Include

· Production of monthly management accounts, including full commentary, variance analysis and group reporting

· Collaboration with operational teams, offering insight & analysis of costs, and advice to improve understand of impact on business

· Budgeting & forecasting

· Acting as support to the FD, working with them to improve financial reporting & presence within the business.

About you

The ideal candidate for this position must have:

· A formal Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) OR QBE with relevant experience

· Experience working within manufacturing/FMCG/Production

· Be driven by excellence & continuous improvement

· Exceptional Communication skills
