Role - Interim Finance Manager

Duration - 6 Months +
I am working with a local authority client who are looking to bring in an Interim Finance Manager for a 6 month contract to assist with the day to day running of their Management Accountancy team.
Day to Day Duties:
- Undertaking budget monitoring, setting and monthly reporting for Revenue and Capital budgets.
- Assist with the year end closedown for various Cost Centres within the Authority.
- Provide support on the preparation of the Annual Statement of Accounts.
Experience Required:
- Must have recent Local Authority/Council experience in a similar role.
- Be competent to manage a small team of Accountants with the Management Accountancy Service.
- Strong working experience and knowledge of COPFS Accounting Code of Practice for Local Government.
- Knowledge Agresso/Agresso Business World On!.
