TITLE: Finance Manager - Lancashire (45,000 - 60,000 per annum)

Your New Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of the business. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, this is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes while managing and developing the finance team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in financial planning, management reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Group Managing Director and overseeing all accounting operations.

  • Conducting financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders on all financial matters.

  • Overseeing the monthly production of management accounts for all brands and maintaining balance sheets.

  • Supervising the preparation of weekly sales, gross profit, and margin reports.

  • Managing and controlling the Group's cash flow position.

  • Leading and developing the Finance team to ensure high performance.

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly budgets and reforecasting on a quarterly basis.

  • Supporting the integration of new companies into the Group, providing back-office financial support.

  • Managing all payroll matters.

  • Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and board packs.

  • Reviewing the Group's quarterly VAT returns.

  • Preparing ad hoc reports for Directors and Senior Management.

  • Maintaining key relationships with clients and company suppliers.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.

  • Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar senior finance role.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Experience in managing and developing a finance team.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.

  • Experience in a multi-brand or group structure would be advantageous.
