Multi Skilled M&E Engineer

A multi-skilled engineer is required to join a maintenance team working across 2 large manufacturing sites in Lancashire. You will be an energetic, dynamic multi-skilled M&E engineer with a fundamental understanding of a variety of equipment and buildings. A proactive attitude towards colleagues, customers and work in general is required at all times.

Your main duties will include proactive and reactive work on single and three phase circuits, single and three phase power systems/HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, inverters, building management systems and lighting circuits and have a wide range of knowledge for M&E equipment that can be found in a manufacturing environment.

You would also be required to have excellent communication skills to fit in the environment and be able to use your skill set to solve problems in other areas of the business as required. You will be required to work on on-call as required.

To be a suitable candidate you would need to hold a fully recognised trade qualification in either electrical (18th edition, NVQ2 minimum), mechanical (NVQ2 minimum) or HVAC (NVQ2 minimum). You will also need a full UK driving license and the ability to gain SC Clearance in accordance to the client's requirements.
